- Read "Making Room for a Third Party" and answer the questions: (Both question have more than one reason)1. Why is is it so hard for a third party to become successful in the American Party System? How can they become a successful party in our system?.
- Then, as a class we will watch a brief overview of the Libertarian Party from Sixty Minutes.

D. How can drawing voting lines be an issue of federalism?
2. Students will examine gerrymandering and how this processes impacts elections.
